The day I received a phone call from Cherie asking me lots of questions about how to get married, I knew that we ‘clicked’. We talked for about 30 minutes, which helped Cherie get an idea of what she wanted for her wedding ceremony. She was in the early planning stages and really wasn’t sure of a date, where she wanted to get married, and how it was all going to happen. She just needed some help, some ideas and I’m so glad I was able to help her.
So the date was set for almost six months to the day later, and we met at the home of their stylist Jason from JLSS&Co., and I married them.
It was a beautiful, very personal wedding. Cherie looked amazing in her beautiful ballerina-style dress, and Frank was such a proud groom. Both of their parents traveled from overseas to witness their special day, and their 30 or so guests absolutely loved being part of their wedding day.
They chose Hailey Reinhart’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” to walk in to, and as Cherie entered the room on the arm of her father, there were beautiful happy tears falling down Frank’s face. It was such a precious moment, and one they will both remember forever.
Cherie and Frank had such a fun story to tell – from the moment Frank first laid eyes on Cherie he was in love. They’ve been together for years, and have shared such happy times together.
Their vows were full of love, and really captured the personality of each of them and the love that they share together.
There is something very special about a family and a close-friend wedding. It’s very personal, very close and everyone feels part of it as they are so connected to the couple.
We had a rehearsal at my home, as Cherie and Frank felt that they wanted me to meet their parents and know what they needed to do, and it was a lovely relaxed hour or so, spent at my home sharing coffee with their mum’s and dad’s and practicing their wedding. They also shared their vows with their parents in Chinese at this time, so that they understood what they were going to say to each other on their wedding day. I think there was even a tear in Cherie’s mother’s eyes!

Frank says that Cherie is supportive, and trusting, and has so much love to give. I’m sure you will all agree – they are a very special couple, who are just perfect for each other.”
